insurance certificate 保险凭证 又称“小保单”，指在保险凭证上不印保险条款，实际上是一种简化的保险单。保险凭证与保险单具有同等效力，凡是保险凭证上没有列明的，均以同类的保险单为准，为了便于双方履行合同，这种在保险单以外单独签发的保险凭证主要在以下几种情况时使用：①在一张团体保险单项下，需要给每一个参加保险的人签发一张单独的凭证；②在货物运输保险订有预约合同的条件下，需要对每一笔货运签发单独的凭证；③对于机动车辆第三者责任险，一般实行强制保险。为了便于被保险人随身携带以供有关部门检查，保险人通常出具保险凭证。此外，我国还有一种联合保险凭证，主要用于保险公司同外贸公司合作时附印在外贸公司的发票上，仅注明承保险别和保险金额，其他项目均以发票所列为准。当外贸公司在缮制发票时，保险凭证也随即办妥。这种简化凭证大大节省人力，目前对港澳地区的贸易业务也已大量使用。
