insurance certificate 保险凭证 又称“小保单”,指在保险凭证上不印保险条款,实际上是一种简化的保险单。保险凭证与保险单具有同等效力,凡是保险凭证上没有列明的,均以同类的保险单为准,为了便于双方履行合同,这种在保险单以外单独签发的保险凭证主要在以下几种情况时使用:①在一张团体保险单项下,需要给每一个参加保险的人签发一张单独的凭证;②在货物运输保险订有预约合同的条件下,需要对每一笔货运签发单独的凭证;③对于机动车辆第三者责任险,一般实行强制保险。为了便于被保险人随身携带以供有关部门检查,保险人通常出具保险凭证。此外,我国还有一种联合保险凭证,主要用于保险公司同外贸公司合作时附印在外贸公司的发票上,仅注明承保险别和保险金额,其他项目均以发票所列为准。当外贸公司在缮制发票时,保险凭证也随即办妥。这种简化凭证大大节省人力,目前对港澳地区的贸易业务也已大量使用。
